Five-page website cost in the UK: a fixed-scope buying guide

Lucas Brasso de Morais · · 3 min read

The Lucas Brasso five-page business website package costs €599 in euros, including for UK businesses. It is not a £599 offer. Your bank or payment provider sets any GBP conversion and charges. Recurring services and any applicable taxes are confirmed separately.

Start with the customer action

A five-page website is a good fit when the job is to explain a service and generate enquiries. It becomes a different project when you need a live catalogue, payments, customer accounts or an internal booking engine. Write down the action you need before choosing the package.

A UK consultant may need a service overview, process, background and contact. A trades business may use the same page allowance for services, work examples and coverage. Page count is only one part of scope: content volume, integrations and editing requirements also affect the work.

Read the currency and recurring terms carefully

The €599 development price is denominated in euros. Do not treat the same number as a sterling price. Currency conversion can change between the quote and payment, and a provider may add a fee. Ask for the payment schedule and final invoice terms before committing.

Compare development separately from hosting, domain registration, email and maintenance. Ask what renews, at what frequency and in whose account. A fixed build price can still sit alongside recurring services; a monthly subscription can include different levels of work. Neither headline tells you the full scope.

Ask who controls the website after launch

Agree who holds the domain account, who can change DNS settings and who receives hosting notices. Keep recovery access associated with your business. Discuss what happens if you move to another provider or want another developer to work on the site.

If you need to edit text yourself, ask for that explicitly. A website built for occasional developer updates has a different workflow from a content management system. “Can be updated” does not necessarily mean “includes a visual editor and unlimited ongoing changes”.

A useful checklist for a UK quote

Request an agreed sitemap, a list of included contact features, content responsibilities and a launch checklist. Ask what counts as an extra page and how changes outside the scope are approved. If you use an existing booking tool, provide its link rather than assuming a new tool must be built.

SEO foundations should describe concrete deliverables such as crawlable service content, titles, a sitemap and sensible internal links. A website build is not a promise of first-page rankings. Your service quality, competition, content and the search engine’s decisions all matter.

For the €599 package, send the service you offer, the customers you want and a proposed five-page list. Lucas works remotely from Brazil, so agree review arrangements and response expectations as part of the brief. You do not need an in-person meeting to define a clear project.
