Cleaning business website guide
How to get more cleaning enquiries from your website
Lucas Brasso de Morais · · 2 min read
Start by checking whether relevant people can find your cleaning website, understand the service and complete the contact step. Improve real coverage details, inclusions, evidence and the quote route. Measure suitable enquiries actually received. Extra traffic or more pages will not fix an unclear offer or a broken form.
Illustrative planning example
A useful diagnosis before redesign
Illustrative situation: visitors reach the office-cleaning page but still phone to ask whether evening work is possible.
- Content change
- Publish the genuine access windows and explain how to arrange an assessment.
- Contact change
- Use “Arrange an office assessment” rather than an unexplained “Submit”.
- Verification
- Test the route and record whether suitable enquiries reach the team. No uplift is claimed.
Cleaning layouts and sample enquiries are illustrative planning examples, not completed cleaning-client projects or measured results. The linked Lucas Brasso website is real work and has a larger scope than the five-page package.
1. Separate visibility problems from contact problems
Use Search Console to check impressions, clicks and the queries leading to each page. Search performance is different from website engagement: a page with no visits needs a discovery review; a page with visits and no contact needs a content and journey review.
Check your own business name, services and real coverage information for consistency. Eligible businesses can use a truthful Google Business Profile. A remote web developer cannot create a real local office for your cleaning company.
2. Make the job and quote process clear
Put the cleaning type, actual service area and next action near the top. Explain inclusions and exclusions before the visitor has to ask. Domestic work and office contracts should not share a vague message if their buying decisions differ.
Show permission-approved work and verifiable credentials. State whether the next step is a callback, an assessment or a provisional quote. Only publish response times your team has agreed it can meet.
3. Test the enquiry route on a phone
Tap the call and email links. Try the form with realistic test data and confirm receipt. Check keyboard access, readable labels and any error messages. Remove unnecessary questions that do not help assess the cleaning work.
If analytics consent is enabled, distinguish a contact click, draft generation and confirmed delivery. A draft saved on the visitor’s screen does not mean your team received it.
4. Review enquiry quality and improve one issue
Record the service requested, coverage fit and outcome without retaining unnecessary personal information. If many enquiries are outside your area, clarify coverage. If the same exclusion causes disagreement, make it visible on the service page.
Keep the page that solves a real buyer question and consolidate similar location pages without distinct evidence. Useful answers support both search discovery and human decisions; no page count guarantees leads.
